Bella has just moved to Forks and has just survived the attack from James. Edward and their family go into the forest to play some ball when the lightning starts to do things it shouldn't. Suddenly the Cullens fined them selves in a place they don't know.
Caleb and the rest of the covenant were standing on a clef about to go to a great party when the lightning started striking around them. Soon they find them selves standing in front of a group of beautiful people. All but one of them are completely pale and golden eyes.
In the town of Corem New York it is not strange to find people in this town that don't belong. The Lowell academe takes in all these 'Strays' as the head mistress calls them. There seems to be a magical component that draws all magical people here. The Covenant and the Cullens soon discover why their here when enemies somehow show up. Victorian still hell bent on killing Bella and Chase still longing for the power Caleb has. And thats just the top of it...
There is a great evil in this world as well, and the most powerful group of Witches and Vampires are working on it here. Leading this team is the beautiful Mina Down and her group of 'Midnight Worriors' as the other students call them are trying to save the school from a group of Vampire and Witches that call them selves The Death Bringers.
Now the Cullens, The Covenant, and The Midnight Worriors all have to work together, not only to get back to their own world, but to stop their own enemies from tearing this world apart.
